Hi everyone! My name is Makenna Hadden. I am from Blairstown, New Jersey and I am apart of a family of 5. I am so excited to be starting this podcast! I am a current full time student and athlete at the University of Mary Washington. I am a sophomore and I play on the women’s lacrosse team here at UMW. I love playing lacrosse here and being a student athlete. I chose to create this podcast because sports is something I am incredibly passionate about.
I have play lacrosse since the 2nd grade and ever since I started I fell in love with the sport. I decide to continue my athletic career at UMW because of the team environment, academic balance, and coaching staff. I felt like I belonged here from the moment I spent on campus.
At Mary Washington being a full time student athlete can be difficult at times but I wouldn’t trade my experiences for the world. Mary Washington makes the balance between academics and sports very easy and flexible. The teachers are willing to work with you and your rigorous sports schedule.
